Practical tips for getting the most out of RoamAlley. Your use of RoamAlley is governed by the Terms of Use and the Travel Information and AI Disclaimer; this guide does not change them.

Start with ideas, then verify the details

Use RoamAlley to explore possibilities and build a starting point for your own research. Give useful context, such as your destination, dates, available time, budget, and interests. You can describe accessibility needs in general terms without sharing medical details or identity documents.

AI can misunderstand a request or invent a plausible answer. A polished itinerary may include places that do not exist, outdated hours, wrong estimates, or activities that cannot be combined. Read every suggestion critically and confirm the important facts yourself.

Turn an itinerary into a workable plan

Check that each place exists, where it is, its current hours and admission rules, and whether you need to book ahead. Confirm travel times with current transport information. Leave room for queues, transfers, meals, rest, traffic, delays, and weather. Double-check time zones and dates when a journey crosses borders or midnight.

A suggested place is not reserved for you. RoamAlley does not sell or make bookings. Book directly with the provider, read its terms, keep its confirmations, and check the full price and cancellation rules before you pay.

Use official sources for important requirements

Confirm entry, transit, passport, visa, customs, permit, and local-law requirements with government authorities and your carrier. Requirements depend on your citizenship, documents, and circumstances. Never rely on an AI answer to decide whether you can legally enter a country or do an activity. For health, legal, insurance, or other professional questions, ask a qualified professional.

Make your own safety decisions

A suggestion does not mean a place, route, or activity has been inspected or found safe. RoamAlley does not monitor your surroundings or know every hazard. Consider your experience, health, equipment, and actual conditions. Follow posted rules and instructions from local authorities, and change or abandon a plan when conditions call for it. Do not use the app while driving or when it would distract you. In an emergency, call the local emergency number directly.

Plan for interruptions

Phones, batteries, connections, and online services can fail. Keep essential details, such as confirmations, addresses, and contacts, somewhere else you can rely on. Do not assume content will be available offline, that a notification will arrive, or that a plan will update itself when conditions change.

Travel with people you trust

  • Invite only people you trust to a trip. Tripmates see its itinerary, dates, costs, and who is on it, and editors can change the plan.
  • Your location is shared only while you guide a day together, during a trip you turned on "Share during the whole trip" for, or for one hour after you tap "I'm lost", and only with the people on that trip. Turn sharing off from Find tripmates at any time.
  • "I'm lost" alerts your tripmates only. It does not contact emergency services or RoamAlley.
  • Shared costs are a record you keep together. Settle up with each other directly; RoamAlley does not move money.

Be a good community member

Publish guides and comments that are honest and helpful. Harassment, hate, explicit content, spam, fake reviews, and sharing other people's private information are not allowed. Use Report on any profile, guide, or comment that breaks the rules, and Block anyone you do not want to hear from. We review reports and remove content or accounts that violate our Terms.

Share information thoughtfully

Before using AI features, read the sharing notice shown to you and the Privacy Policy. Do not enter passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information. Get permission before sharing another person's information. More personal details do not make an AI answer more reliable.

Understand your plan

RoamAlley Pro gives you the features and allowances shown at purchase. It does not guarantee accurate information, a safe trip, or any outcome. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

Report a problem

For an incorrect suggestion or app issue, note what you saw, roughly when, and enough context to explain what went wrong, then email support@roamalley.com. For a booking problem, contact the provider you booked with. Support is not an emergency service.
