ICZAAR LLC | RoamAlley
Effective date: October 31, 2026
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. RoamAlley is a travel-planning tool and nothing more. It gives you information and suggestions; every decision and action you take, while planning or while traveling, is yours alone. ICZAAR LLC is not responsible for your actions, choices, or mistakes, or for those of anyone else. AI suggestions can be wrong, outdated, unsafe, or impossible to carry out, and you must verify anything that matters before relying on it. Sections 10 through 13 limit our liability, include a release of claims and your promise to indemnify us, and Section 15 requires individual arbitration and waives class actions, unless you opt out as described there.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ICZAAR LLC, a limited liability company based in Michigan, United States ("ICZAAR," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the RoamAlley app, its website at roamalley.com, its AI features, community features, and paid plans (together, the "Service").
By checking the agreement box in the app, creating an account, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Travel Information and AI Disclaimer is part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. The Traveler Guide offers practical tips; it does not add to our obligations. If anything in a summary, screen, or guide conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and of legal age to form a binding contract where you live, to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its information.
You may not use the Service if you have previously been banned from it or if using it would violate the law that applies to you.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account. Tell us promptly at support@roamalley.com if you believe your account has been used without permission. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account.
You are responsible for your own device, internet connection, data charges, and for keeping your own copies of any information you need. Do not rely on the Service as the only place you keep important travel details.
4. RoamAlley is a tool, not a travel service
The Service is a software tool that helps you organize ideas and plan trips. It provides general information, AI-generated suggestions, maps, itineraries, packing lists, and features for planning with other people. That is all it does.
RoamAlley and ICZAAR are not a travel agent, tour operator, booking service, guide, chaperone, navigator, safety service, emergency service, insurer, or adviser of any kind. We do not sell, book, or confirm transportation, lodging, tours, tickets, or any other travel product. A place appearing in the app is not a reservation, endorsement, or promise that it exists, is open, is safe, or will serve you.
Nothing in the Service is legal, immigration, medical, financial, insurance, safety, or other professional advice. A paid plan gives you access to additional software features; it does not buy advice, accuracy, supervision, or any travel outcome.
You are solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, and mistakes, including where you go, when you go, how you travel, what you do, what you spend, who you travel with, and whether you follow, change, or ignore any suggestion. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
5. AI suggestions and independent verification
AI generates responses from patterns in data. It can invent places, facts, prices, opening hours, distances, routes, and requirements, and it can present wrong information confidently. A detailed, personalized, or confident response is not a verified one. No person at ICZAAR reviews AI responses before you see them.
Before spending money, traveling, entering an area, following directions, or relying on anything in the Service, independently verify it with official sources and the actual provider. This includes entry and visa requirements, local laws, safety advisories, weather, transport schedules, opening hours, prices, availability, and accessibility. Never use the Service as your only source for a decision that could affect your safety, health, legal status, money, or another person.
Ignore any suggestion that conflicts with local laws, posted signs, official instructions, professional advice, or the conditions you see around you.
6. Location, tripmates, and shared costs
Location features are not safety devices. Maps, day guidance, location sharing with tripmates, and "I'm lost" can be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable because of your device, battery, signal, settings, or our systems. "I'm lost" only alerts the people on your trip; it does not contact emergency services or ICZAAR, and no one at ICZAAR monitors it. In an emergency, call your local emergency number directly. Do not use the app while driving, cycling, crossing traffic, or doing anything that needs your attention.
Tripmates. You choose whom to invite to a trip and whose trips to join. Tripmates are independent people, not our employees or agents. We do not screen, vet, or supervise them, and we are not responsible for what they do, whether online or in person, including how they use any location or information you share with them. Only invite and travel with people you trust.
Shared costs. Shared costs and paybacks are a record you and your tripmates keep together. RoamAlley does not hold, move, or collect money, and it does not guarantee that any amount is correct or will be paid. Any debt or disagreement between tripmates is solely between them.
7. Community content and conduct
The Service lets travelers create public profiles, publish community guides, post comments, ratings, and reactions, follow each other, and share plans ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and for your interactions with other travelers.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content, or behave in a way, that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes anyone's rights;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, stalks, or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, pornographic, or excessively violent;
- encourages self-harm, dangerous activities, or illegal conduct;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity or affiliation;
- shares another person's private information without their permission;
- is spam, advertising, or misleading, including fake reviews or ratings; or
- contains malicious code or attempts to interfere with the Service.
You can report any profile, guide, or comment from within the app and block any traveler. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours, which can include removing content and suspending or permanently banning the account responsible. We may remove any User Content or restrict any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We are not obligated to monitor User Content and do not endorse it. Content from other travelers may be inaccurate, offensive, or unsafe to follow, and you rely on it entirely at your own risk.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant ICZAAR a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it as needed to operate, provide, and improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy and your settings. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other travelers have already saved and copies we must keep under the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have all the rights needed to grant this license.
8. Acceptable use and our rights
We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own lawful, noncommercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. ICZAAR and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and branding.
You must not: break the law using the Service; access it through automated means, scraping, or bots; copy, resell, or redistribute it or its content; reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows; bypass usage limits, access controls, or paid features; overload or disrupt it; or use AI features to produce harmful or unlawful content.
You may use the AI responses generated for you for your own personal travel planning. We do not promise that responses are unique or free of third-party rights.
9. Paid plans, billing, and cancellation
RoamAlley Pro is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions, one-time passes for a fixed number of days, and, where offered, a one-time lifetime purchase. The purchase screen shows the price, what is included, the billing period, and any trial before you buy. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account under Apple's terms.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion ends when you buy a subscription, and you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Passes are charged once, do not renew, and end automatically after the stated number of days. Lifetime access lasts for as long as we offer the Service and the paid features it covers.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are nonrefundable and we do not give credits for partial periods. We may change prices or paid features with notice as required by Apple and applicable law.
10. Assumption of risk
Travel is inherently risky. Risks include injury, illness, death, theft, crime, property damage, financial loss, delays, cancellations, natural hazards, political unrest, legal or immigration problems, and the acts of other people. Many of these risks cannot be predicted or avoided, and no app can eliminate them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks arising from your travel, your activities, your interactions with other people, and your decision to use or act on anything in the Service, including the risk that information is wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for you.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, INCLUDING AI SUGGESTIONS, MAPS, LOCATION FEATURES, AND USER CONTENT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ICZAAR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, current, safe, reliable, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any place or suggestion is real, open, legal, accessible, or safe, or that using the Service will result in a safe or successful trip.
12. Release of claims and limitation of liability
Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release ICZAAR LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors (the "ICZAAR Parties") from all claims, losses, and damages, known or unknown, arising from or related to: (a) your travel, activities, decisions, actions, or mistakes; (b) your reliance on any information or suggestion in the Service, including AI suggestions; (c) the conduct of tripmates, other travelers, or any third party, online or offline; and (d) any business, place, or provider mentioned in the Service. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." You waive any similar law in any other place.
No indirect damages. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ICZAAR PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST TRAVEL EXPENSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.
Cap. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ICZAAR PARTIES' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $50.
These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not apply to liability for our fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or to any other liability that the law does not allow to be released, excluded, or limited. In those cases, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the ICZAAR Parties from any claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, brought by anyone and arising from or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your travel, activities, decisions, actions, or mistakes; (c) your User Content; (d) your interactions with tripmates or other travelers; (e) any information, including location, that you share with others; or (f) your violation of these Terms, the law, or anyone's rights. We may take control of the defense of any such claim at your expense, and you will cooperate with us.
14. Third parties
The Service uses and displays information from third parties, such as Apple Maps, weather data, Wikipedia, and AI providers, and mentions independent businesses. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, products, services, or conduct. Any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and that third party under their terms.
15. Disputes, arbitration, and class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. Before starting a claim, you agree to email support@roamalley.com with a description of the dispute and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
Binding individual arbitration. Except as stated below, any dispute arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could. Arbitration will take place in Michigan or, at your choice, by video or written submissions. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
Class-action and jury-trial waiver. YOU AND ICZAAR EACH AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, AND EACH WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be decided in court, not arbitration.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek a court order to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@roamalley.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and the email address of your account. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Time limit. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
Governing law and courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable U.S. federal law, including the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any matter not subject to arbitration will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place whose law gives you mandatory consumer protections, this section does not take those protections away, and you may bring claims in the courts where you live.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access, or remove content, at any time and for any reason, including a violation of these Terms, a report from another traveler, or a legal or security concern, with or without notice. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Sections 4 through 7 and 10 through 18 survive termination.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. When we ask you to accept updated Terms, you must accept them to keep using the Service. Otherwise, continuing to use the Service after the update takes effect means you accept it.
18. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, the following also applies:
- These Terms are between you and ICZAAR only, not Apple. ICZAAR, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules, and is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- ICZAAR, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, ICZAAR, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
19. General
These Terms, together with the Travel Information and AI Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, and any purchase terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and ICZAAR about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Notices to you may be given in the app or by email.
